The roller derby fashion show was fabulous.  Monica was wearing my bright pink petticoat and looked adorable.  It anniversary party was a blast and I believe fun was had by all.

I just spent 2 hours this evening rearranging and organizing my space for the sale tomorrow!  It was great; feels good.  I am all set and ready to go and have brought in some new goodies as well.  The roller derby fashion show is going to be so fun; I cant wait!

Red Fox Vintage on Woodstock 1 year Anniversary Party and Sale*

This is going to be so amazing.  If you haven't been to the Woodstock Red Fox in Portland, Oregon, now is the time.  This Saturday there's a 20 percent of store wide sale, which is amazing.  And the party starts at 6, plus there's going to be a roller derby fashion show where the derby girls will be modeling vintage!  Super fun.

New Arrivals for Him*

I have brought in some sweet vintage shirts...check it out:

Alpental is the more challenging area of Snoqualamie Ski Area in Washington.  That was actually the area I learned to ski, so it has a special place in my heart.  This is a great vintage shirt.

 This is a really nice green plaid Pendleton Wool men's shirt.

And my favorite, the super cool "train" shirt.  It has hand embroidered images of trains and a pocket watch and a railroad track where the buttons are, and check out the back:

Mother's Day Goodies*

I have plenty to choose from when it comes to Mother's day, but here are a couple of obvious pieces that any mother would love and cherish, circa 1970:

I also found a bunch of vintage reduplication postcards of Portland and I am going to send this one to my mom :)

This special streetcar was put into service by the Portland Traction Co. in 1936.  An 8 May 1936 Portland newspaper noted:  "Cruising the streets of Portland in this pure white streetcar equipped with appropriate sentiments reminding the tardy to honor their mother."
